Hip Replacement

Hip replacement is an advanced surgical procedure that is performed on animals suffering from the painful condition of advanced osteoarthritis or dysplasia of the hip joint.

The procedure involves the removal of the femoral head (ball) and acetabulum (socket) and replacing them with artificial components, thus alleviating pain and improving your pet’s quality of life.

In this case, Ouzo came to us for his second hip replacement one year after undergoing his first operation. And here he is today, just 10 days after the surgery, already back up on his feet and eager for his daily walk.

We’re glad to see him recovering well!
