TPLO Surgery

TPLO surgery is a surgical procedure used to treat cranial (or anterior) cruciate ligament rupture in the knee joints of dogs.  It involves changing the angle of the top of the shin bone and stabilising it in a new position with a plate and screws. This procedure is often recommended for dogs that are experiencing pain and instability due to a torn cranial cruciate ligament.

In this case, Winston and Purdy, two lovely dogs came to us on the same day for their scheduled TPLO Surgery, and here they are just 10 days post-op recovering nicely!

We are confident that with a little more time and patience, Winston and Purdy will make a full recovery and be back to playing and running around as they did before their injuries.
